IMPORTANT NEWS LADIES AND GENTS!!! Zipper is now using votes on their blog to decide whether or not to make Domination a faction neutral game, just like Sabo and Suspression. Seeing how this is the most popular game type, its really important y'all express y'alls opinion. Whether you wanna keep it faction oriented or make it neutral, EVERY VOTE COUNTS!! VOTE TODAY!!

id say keep it faction oriented otherwise much of the already thin story is dead.

Quickly SVER we must destroy our own pipes at E and F... Honestly how stupid is that!

However, atleast this will end the debate on whether it is the map that win it.

They're doing too much to appease the insects at this game & ignore the elite. It's like they want MAG to fail now...

Zipper has put the powah in the hands of the people... now we just need the rite ppl to respond, and keep it faction based!! i dont wanna defend the god awful anti-air boat!

yes i think it should stay the same but I feel like Free on this they cater to the insects and don't tend to the people higher than insects. I don't even play as much as i used to anymore because of it. I liked the old Sabo. I like the new suppression but that's all i even play now why bother playing anything else now. to me all these changes are a big fail. Maybe when the new stuff comes i'll play more until then i'm buying other games.

Influence MAG: Should Domination Go “Faction-Neutral?”

We’ve long said that MAG is an evolving game, one that changes and improves over time thanks in very large part to your input. The most direct example of this is our Influence MAG program, a player-driven design decision where you can vote on various MAG game elements and tell us exactly what you want.

Our first Influence MAG question asked if you’d like to change Domination’s time limit. The second one let you vote on whether or not disconnecting from a game would count as a loss. This time, we’re putting up what might be our most controversial question yet:

Should the Domination game mode become faction-neutral?

Making a map “faction neutral” means that you don’t always have to defend your own territory and attack on the defending PMC’s turf — you can attack and defend on any map, even if a map’s faction isn’t in the match. In other words, going faction-neutral might allow Raven to attack Valor on SVER’s map.

We’ve already made the Sabotage and Suppression modes faction-neutral with our last update, but with our 256-player mode now up for revision, we wanted to check in with our community to see what you think. Do you want change things up and bring a new twist to an existing mode, or do you think that PMC-specific Domination is a key component to what makes the Shadow War so unique?

Now that you’re informed of the stakes, here’s the fine print:

· The winning answer must have 60% of the overall vote for two-point questions
· The winning answer must have 55% of the overall vote for three-point questions.
· If no answer has the required % allotment then there is no status change.

To vote, simply look to your right and vote in our official poll. It will remain open until 11:59pm Pacific Time on September 28, 2010. Once the poll ends, we’ll tally up the results and modify the game accordingly sometime thereafter.

OK! So far so good, No had 53% of the votes while yes has 47%, in order for it to change no needs to have 60% so unless we get abunch of troll voters using every computar and internet they can yes should not get 60%

I was in a sour mood on my last post; generally I'm not so elitist (sp?) but enough is enough. I've played this since the beta & nearly every change since has been for the worst. When I started on the retail, Valor had the biggest clans, Raven ruled Acquisition & Sver had the best teamwork amongst randoms, hands down. THAT was why we won so much, not our maps that they complain do all the work for us (negating the loses they eat in their home turf), Our aim was truer despite massive recoil, we knew what the medkit was for, & we knew what to do without always talking due to a hive-minded mentality almost.

Now when I log in, I see the changes elicited into the game from the brats who won't shut up because they suck at this game. No offence to A^P's MW2 roster, but these clowns think because they are the truth on CoD (they aren't) that means they'll be awesome at MAG. When they get shut down their first response is to complain "they guns are overpowered" "they maps are too hard" "this game sucks I don't wanna play no more" & they try to appease these clowns. On top of all this, in light of the seemingly massive nerfing they've done to Sver, like 70% of our better players just jumped ship to Raven, so we're stuck with randoms from Valor & Raven with their dumb *** play styles, new players who don't want to listen & the jokers who think they're still playing CoD. I'm starting to love this game less & less...that's not a good thing.

And technically, SMA is A^P's MAG division, so it could stay here I guess. IDK; I'm going to play MAG.

I HATE when I run into people who think it's like CoD. I ran into a few people in MAG that tryed to see if dropshooting would work in MAG, but I still always killed them by simply point down to them. They need to know that you can't kill someone in 1 second like CoD.

No offense taken. I agree that MAG is not a casual shooter and to win there has to be teamwork and in COD you can win a 1v6 SND no problem. I think what has happened are the COD kids are bored of mw2 and are looking for something to hold them over to Black Ops. I played the MAG beta and bought the game on release day. I played it a ton and loved it but most of my friends are COD and KZ players and they didn't like it too much. So I was stuck with a game that none of my friends played. I wish I would have known about AP back then I would still be playing it.
