Anyone ever heard of this gem? played it?

heard of it, never played. a few friends are fans, though.

heard of it, played it, loved it, disappointed with xenosaga. Just sold this on ebay cause I was unemployed for a bit, got some decent cash for it, but still not as much as suikoden 2 got me. but when i used to sell vintage games the best one i sold was a factory sealed chrono trigger. got me like $250 for it. lol. people are silly.

i just call it a game, i wouldn't pay 200 no matter how rare it is lol. i hacked my psp & made Xeno into an eboot to play it, same with suikoden 2.
I saw suikoden 2 at gorilla games for 150 :S .

Xeno story reminds me so much of neon genesis evangelion

yea xeno was pure awesome. one of my favorites for sure. Yea the suikoden 2 i sold was resurfaced so it looked like i cleaned it with a brillo pad, but still sold for 80+. It hurt to sell it cause i dont sell games anymore cause i regret it. but desperate times = desperate measures.

but yea i love rpgs since NES so i have played most everything.

Yea i keep all my games as well, you never know when you want to play it again. i still need to beat suikoden 2. Rpg's my fav genre

suikoden is probably one of my favorite series, i try to find the best in all of them. I am really hoping they make a part 6, cause 4 didnt look good so i never played it, but 5 was a vast improvement, not as good as the first 3, but very close. so they were moving in the right direction again, but now we havent heard anything in ages : (

i played 1 a bit, got the hq in 2. played a demo of 3.
is 4 the one withe ship traveling & the talking cat? cause that 1 was pretty bad lol.
5 i never seen.

lol doesnt sound like you got very far in any of them : P yes 4 had the talking cats. I know it was bad i watched my friend play it but it never interested me. the cool thing is its all one storyline just random points in that timeline. so there are overlapping characters in different points in there life. but 4 was like a thousand years in the past so it was like, huh? but yea 5 was very good. i would rate them 2, 3, 5, 1, 4. plus there was two other side games.

i need to get back onto playing 2 again,,but i wind up always playing then stopping lol.
One thing about getting free games,, once you get them all, you wind up not playing them for a long time.

4 story would probably confuse some then.

I heart number 2 the most right now, i need to find 3 and play it a again though. but i need to beat 1 and 2 first before i commit to buying it.

Disc 2 In Xeno cause so much outrage and controversy calling it unfinished..which it was due to Square budget. All it mainly was just the story getting thrown at you for hours pretty much, watching fei,elly,citan sit in the chair and talk about what they did instead of you playing through it.
Disc 1 was already a long enough length for an rpg lol.. it took me 40 something hours to beat it

but its have a good graphic and battle system at that time...

well, if u guys like suikoden, mee toooo lol u guys ever herd a suikoden in NDS its called suiloden tierkreis, the battle are pretty easy but the story are good

you need to finish it! yes the battle at the time could only be rivaled to legend of legaia.

lol, if i m not wrong when u get the new combs there will be a list tho u can click the art

yea your able to. The random encounter rate is so high, i'll be amazed if you don't overleveled through the duration of the game, but it has it's tough parts. I'm looking at you underwater Ramsus

I seen this but never played. Im more of a Xenosaga fan. srsly, the game was taken down too harshly. The stoy was awesome and the combat system intruiging as well as havin some pretty awesome character and mech designs.

Then you have to play it, definitely. I still have to play Xenosaga ugh.

I haven't really see this game get negative reviews besides the 2nd disc issue and all, but if you check out topics asking what rpg they would like remaded. you'll see xenogears name appear on that list quite often

BUZZINESS Xenosaga sucks seriously my nig, Xenogears is by far better except for graphics but Xenogears was PS1 and Xenosaga was PS2

@seys. you can play xenogears on your ps3 , but you;ll enter a bug on the 2nd disc that might take a couple of times to pass.

Don again, man i heard xenogears is better but i want to try out the rest of the story ya dig, because i read the perfect works translation of it and xenosaga is intertwined with the storyline lol
